May Ko Moua
1957 – 2025
May Ko Moua, age 67, went home to be with the Lord in February 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
May was born in Laos in 1957 and was married in 1975. May and her family fled the Vietnam War Thailand as refugees. In 1978, they were granted asylum and moved to the United States. She and her family relocated to Pennsylvania to reunite with family before settling in Stockton, California, where she remained the rest of her life.
May was preceded in death by her father, mother, brother, mother-in-law, and beloved grandson.
The fourth eldest of five children, May is survived by four brothers and one sister. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 49 years, two sons, eight daughters, 24 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
May will be remembered for her passion for cooking, her generosity, and her deep love for family and friends. A hard-working and devoted woman, she delighted in creating special treats for those she cherished. May also had a green thumb and leaves behind a flourishing garden that reflects her nurturing spirit. Nature brought her peace, and she enjoyed spending weekends outdoors with her husband, friends, and family.
Her legacy of love, kindness, and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
