Steven Vargem

September 21, 1960 - December 4, 2021

Steven Lee Vargem left this world suddenly on December 4, 2021, at the young age of 61.

Steven was born on September 21, 1960, in Stockton, CA where he was raised by his loving mother Donna Madderra and grandmother Ann Tafuri. As an only child, he grew up very close with both his mother and grandmother. After graduating high school, Steven, known as Steve by his friends, joined the US Navy, spending 2 years stationed in Japan on the USS Kiska, where he learned to speak Japanese and immersed himself in the culture. In 1982, he was honorably discharged after proudly serving 4 years for his country.

Shortly after his military service, Steve married Lynda Edwards and had two daughters, Ashley and Brittney. In 1990, he began his own company, Fab For You, Inc., a sheet metal fabrication shop based in San Jose, CA. He successfully owned and operated his business for over 20 years, and always hoped to pass the business down to his daughters. Steve was a very dedicated, hard-working man and enjoyed working with his hands. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and traveling to Lake Tahoe, his favorite place to enjoy time away with his family.

Steve was survived by his two daughters, Ashley Scanlan and Brittney Botha; as well as his grandson, Maverick James. He will be greatly missed, although forever in our hearts.

A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 am on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Cherokee Memorial Park, Hwy 99 and Harney Lane, Lodi, CA. All are welcome.

Catalina Bermúdez de Jimenez

Marzo 18, 1943 – Diciembre 4, 2021

Ella llego a tener 16 hijos.
